It was about 9 pm on a Tuesday and despite the fact that we were guaranteed a dry night, it hadn't ceased pouring down rain! Mark and I were sitting there going over the weekend's football, ready for the next telephone call for the day to arrive. Before long we received the phone call from a lovely woman on a company expedition who had gone to the Sainsburys filling station in Gross Green and put petrol in her diesel baby blue Ford Transit Connect hire car. She was quite affected apparently, telling me "I can't believe that I've messed up the car! I'm so familiar with putting unleaded in my petrol vehicle that I had did not remember that I was using a diesel!" I just advised her to relax and not to worry, and also that these things unfortunately do happen. She had managed to relocate the vehicle to a safe spot and, as it was only a few minutes away from our van, we were able to find her fairly quickly. The wrong fuel was cleaned up and removed and she could return to the Premier Inn she was living in. Despite the fact we got pretty wet, it was all worth the time seeing her drive off calm and not so apprehensive. One more job in Warwickshire done well in my mind!
If you've unfortunately put the completely wrong fuel in your car and now have to have the wrong fuel removed you are probably browsing the web looking for a quick, trusted, professional and a relatively inexpensive fuel drain company in Gross Green or Warwickshire. We are the specialists to aid you!
AdBlue In your Fuel
How to handle it if you may have poured AdBlue in a Diesel tank?
AdBlue is a solution that is made out of a mix of urea (32.5%) and deionized water (67.5%). AdBlue is actually devastating to your automobile's fuel system, specifically if you run the engine with AdBlue in your diesel fuel tank. Once the engine has been switched on the AdBlue will undoubtedly be pushed into the fuel lines and will immediately begin to crystalise, resulting in catastrophic and costly problems to your vehicle's fuel system.
Phone us if you have suffered from AdBlue contamination. We will help. We are Contaminated Fuel Specialists and have the ability to attend to different types of AdBlue fluid contamination.

Wrong Fuel in Car in CV47 Postcode - Gross Green Misfueling
What a fantastic night's uninterrupted sleep! 7:00 in the morning on a rainy Sunday and we were on the way to assist an older lady who had put the wrong fuel in her diesel clean white Saab 9-4X in Gross Green. She informed us that she had driven away from the petrol station and pulled up in a rural road en route to see her family. I plugged her location straight into the Satnav and got there inside an hour. I got to the destination and removed the contaminated fuel out of the vehicle. Whilst I was doing the drain she explained, "I'm becoming somewhat absent-minded in my senior years and forgot about the vehicle working with diesel because I'd only just bought it a week back because my old car, which I'd owned for about 25 years, finally broke down". I completed the drain and she offered me a peppermint and said thank you. What a lovely Warwickshire lady!
So, if you have filled your petrol vehicle with diesel, or put the wrong fuel in your diesel car anywhere in Warwickshire, phone us now. Our qualified technicians are ready and waiting for your call.
Wrong Fuel Assist Gross Green - Wrong Fuel in Car Gross Green
I'd had a fantastic afternoon hiking on my off day and felt contented with myself the following working day as I was on the way to help a young family who were away in Gross Green. They had stopped after adding diesel into their stylish Ford Focus, and they were close to half an hour away. I arrived at their location and smirked while I heard to the girl telling her spouse off for actually being so silly. "How could you actually find a way to fill up using the wrong fuel?" she told him. I tried to explain that this kind of thing goes on all the time in Warwickshire and that it's truly nothing to worry about, even so he in spite of everything had an earful by his wife. Poor boy. At any rate, I cleaned up and removed all the contaminated fuel, flushed the fuel system and filled it up with the appropriate fuel. While watching them drive away I waved so long and wondered what her indoors would say to me if ever I did the very same thing... I'd under no circumstances live it down!

Wrong Fuel Doctor Gross Green - Fuel Rescue Gross Green
A woman from Gross Green with her children in her diesel metallic red Peugeot Bipper had put £40 of petrol at the Shell service station. She called us weeping and genuinely worried as she had never put petrol in a diesel car and didn't know what would happen to her vehicle . We told her that everything would be fine and that she would be up and running soon. When we arrived she was still upset but while our engineer started work on the fuel drain she calmed down since she saw that something could be done and her vehicle wasn't unfixable. She soon brightened up and was on the road again saying, "I can't believe my luck putting petrol in my diesel car! Especially with the little ones in the back."

How to find out if I put the wrong fuel in my car?
If you’ve just filled up at a petrol station and the cars starts to act a bit strange you might start to wonder if you accidentally put the wrong fuel in it.
Well, there are a few things to can check that will be able to tell you:
- How is the car responding? There are some very common misfuel symptoms which can be a good indicator of wrong fuel:
- Loss of engine power – can feel like the car has run out of fuel
- A lot of smoke (more than usual)
- Engine coughing or starting to splutter
- Won’t start – or keeps stalling.
- Look at your fuel receipt. It will state clearly if you filled up with diesel or unleaded. If you don’t have the receipt, you can often return to the petrol station where you filled up and give them the date and time (and pump) where you refueled and they will often be able to give you a VAT receipt.
- Smell it. Diesel and petrol have very distinctly different smells. Anyone familiar with the motor industry should be able to help you with this. Or you could even get another car to park alongside and smell the fuel caps of both, comparing them to determine what the fuel type is.
- Call us to come out and assess the car. In the majority of cases we will be able to tell if the car has been misfueled before beginning work on it. If we discover that the vehicle does not need a fuel drain, you will only be charged a call-out fee.
